Landed the 1st flight between London – Los Cabos
The first nonstop flight that connected Baja California Sur with Europe took off last Thursday, November 7th , from Gatwick Airport at 9 am London time and landed at 3.30 pm local time, in a journey of over 13 hours. The airline TUI (Touristik Union International) made this trip for the first time with over 350 people aboard on a Boeing 787. This flight will have a frequency of 2 times per week. Until now, all the international routes that were received in Los Cabos came from the US or Canada, therefore, tourists who used to travel from Europe necessarily needed to make a connection. The aircraft has 70 premier class seats, while the rest are tourist class. The importance of this new route is the entry of Los Cabos to the European market with this direct flight, an increase in the flow of European tourists is expected.
